Owner Paul Hnatiw tells us—his store is the only gun AND convenience store in the county. The name of the store, 3 Goldens, refers to Golden Retrievers he used to breed. He no longer does that professionally but he still has his own dogs.

I’ve kept some kind of sketchbook/journal for most of my life and there was always an ebb and flow as to how useful it would be. Right now I so appreciate these little tools. maybe it’s partially the wintertime, but having a place to sink into at anytime to think-feel-figure-write and reflect is a true luxury of the best kind. Here’s an initial concept for one of a couple site specific works I’m making with catskillwaters . This one will be planted next to a defunct coke machine. It’ll passively collect water and incorporate the almost certain repeated vandalism that will come its way.
